We understand that plans may change. This policy explains the charges that may apply when a reservation is canceled or the customer does not appear for the scheduled pickup.
Cancellations More Than 24 Hours Before Pickup
A reservation may be canceled without a cancellation fee when notice is received at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Any refundable amount will be returned to the original payment method, subject to the payment processor’s normal processing time.
Cancellations Within 24 Hours of Pickup
A reservation canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time will be charged a cancellation fee equal to one day of the reservation’s base rental rate, plus applicable taxes. The cancellation fee will not exceed the total amount paid or payable for the reservation.
No-Shows
A customer may be considered a no-show when the customer:
- Does not arrive within 30 minutes after the scheduled pickup time;
- Has not contacted us and received approval for a later pickup time; or
- Does not provide the required driver’s license, payment method, security deposit, insurance documentation, or other information required to complete the rental.
A no-show will be charged a fee equal to one day of the reservation’s base rental rate, plus applicable taxes. Any remaining refundable reservation balance will be returned to the original payment method. The reserved vehicle is not guaranteed to remain available after the 30-minute pickup window unless a later pickup time has been approved in writing.
Refunds and Processing Fees
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on the customer’s card issuer. Any non-refundable payment-processing fee will be retained only when it was clearly disclosed at checkout and is permitted by applicable law and payment-network rules.
Exceptions
We may waive or reduce a cancellation or no-show fee because of a documented emergency or other extraordinary circumstance. Any exception is discretionary and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
This website policy is a summary. If it conflicts with the signed rental agreement, the signed rental agreement controls to the extent permitted by law.
